We take the task of protecting your data and the legal obligations associated with this protection very seriously indeed. In this data protection declaration, you will find out which data is recorded, processed and used by us (hereinafter referred to as “data processing” or “processing data”) and how we ensure the protection of your data, when you visit this website. If you have any questions that are not answered by this data protection declaration, please contact us; you will find our contact data in the impressum.
Please note that as a user of our website, you can use links to reach other websites, which are not operated by us, but by third-parties. These links are either unambiguously identified or are recognisable by a change of address in your browser. We are not responsible for observing the data protection provisions and for a secure handling of your data on these internet sites operated by third-parties.

2. Personal data

Personal data permits the identity of a natural person, e.g. name, date of birth, address and email address to be determined. As a matter of principle, you can use this website without having to fully or partly disclose your identity to us or third-parties.
Disclosing your identity is only necessary if you want to contact us via the website. Without disclosing your identity it would not otherwise be possible for us to reply to your contact enquiry. It is therefore your free choice whether you contact us via the website, and for this purpose reveal your personal data, as required.

3. Data processing through using the website

The website is delivered by a specialised computer (“server”) for this purpose, which automatically records information from each visit to the website and saves it in “log files”. In this regard, the following information is saved: browser type and browser version (“user agent”), operating system used, address of prior internet site visited (“referrer URL”), address of the computer you are using to access the website (“IP address”) as well as the time of your visit to the website. This information is provided by your browser, unless you have configured your browser to suppress the transmission of this information. The data saved in the log files from accessing this website does not enable us to ascertain particulars of a given visitor. No aggregation of this data with other data sources shall ensue.
This website makes use of so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files saved on your computer. They are used to facilitate your use of the website. The cookies used on our website are regularly valid only for the duration of your visit in each case (“session cookies”), and are automatically deleted again by your computer when you quit the website. The cookies used here do not contain any viruses and will not cause any damage to your computer. Personal data is not stored in the cookies. Although you are free to block the use of cookies by setting your browser accordingly, we would point out that blocking the cookies may possibly result in your being unable to use all the functions provided on the website.

4. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.

You can refuse the use of Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set on the computer, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website:

Further information concerning the terms and conditions of use and data privacy can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/en_uk/policies/. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics code is supplemented by “anonymizeIp” to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking).
